One of the nature conservation areas we’re most passionate about is temperate rainforest restoration and last week we were thrilled to visit one of the best local examples – Wistman’s Wood on Dartmoor.
We met the guru Guy Shrubsole who told us about the importance of this wood and the efforts being taken by the Duchy of Cornwall to double its size using acorns harvested from the site two years ago.
